What you can do, from start to finish
Vision & refraction
- A vision record per eye, taken by the refractionist before the doctor: distance vision unaided, with glasses and with pinhole, near vision, and eye pressure with the method used.
- Refraction per eye — sphere, cylinder, axis, near addition and prism — with how it was taken, plus colour vision, the glasses the patient came in with and pupil distance.
- A signed record is never edited. A correction takes its place and the original stays on file beside it, so an old visit still reads as it stood.
Examination, glasses & the doctor's pad
- A two-step visit: today's queue shows who is waiting for refraction, who has been measured, who has been examined and who has a glasses prescription.
- The doctor's eye examination: the front and back of each eye, cup-to-disc ratio, a diagnosis per eye, and risk conditions such as glaucoma or diabetes.
- The glasses prescription, written by the doctor from the measurements and approved. A new one retires the old, whose slip still reprints as it was. Print it as its own slip or after the medicine prescription.

Can I keep diabetic eye screening records?+
Yes. Record retinopathy grades and maculopathy findings per eye, diabetes history, blood sugar results, referrals and the next check date. Print a patient screening report in Bangla or English. It keeps the clinician's recorded findings; it does not diagnose from images.
How do the refractionist and the doctor share the work?+
The refractionist measures vision, pressure and refraction and signs the record; they cannot examine, write glasses or prescribe. The doctor examines with the measurements in front of them and writes and approves the glasses prescription. Both see in today's queue which step each patient is at.
What if the glasses prescription changes?+
Approving a new one retires the old one without deleting it — the old slip still reprints exactly as it was handed over.
Can I bill OCT or other eye tests?+
Eye Chamber invoices the visit. Billing tests such as OCT as investigations needs Diagnostic Management. Storing scan images or report files, and connecting to the machines, are not included yet.
Does it run an optical shop or plan surgery?+
The optical counter is the Optical Shop add-on (৳1,000/month): frame and item stock, glasses orders straight from the doctor's glasses prescription, job cards and lens labs. Cataract surgery and IOL planning are not included yet.
