Frequently Asked Questions

What is SihatSuite?
SihatSuite is cloud-based healthcare operations software built for diagnostic centers, pathology labs, pharmacies, medicine shops, clinics and doctors' chambers in Bangladesh. Diagnostic management, pharmacy, prescriptions, Taka billing, reports, inventory, accounting and role-based access work together in one modular platform.
Who is SihatSuite for?
SihatSuite is designed for diagnostic centers, pathology labs, pharmacies, medicine shops, clinics and doctors' chambers that need connected patient records, investigations, prescriptions, medicine stock, invoicing, accounting and staff access.
Is there any setup fee or hidden charge?
There is no setup or activation fee. Your selected package, optional add-ons and WhatsApp message usage determine the cost. SihatSuite-sender messages use credits, while your own Meta sender has provider charges. Confirm the complete quotation before subscribing.
How do I get started?
Choose a package and submit your organisation details. Our team reviews registrations and normally confirms activation within 1–2 business days. A 15-day free trial is available with no credit card required; confirm the start date and included modules when your account is activated.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each clinic's data is fully isolated — no other tenant can access your records. We follow industry best practices for healthcare data security.
Can I assign different roles to my staff?
Yes. SihatSuite has a full role-based access control system. You can create roles (e.g. Reception, Lab Technician, Doctor) and assign granular permissions to each. A staff member can hold multiple roles at once.
What payment methods are supported for invoicing?
You can record payments via Cash, Card, Mobile Banking, and Bank Transfer. Partial payments and payment tracking are also supported.
Is there a mobile app?
The main SihatSuite website works on phones, tablets and computers with an internet connection. Separate Field Agent and Pharmacy POS apps support their respective workflows, including supported offline work after setup. Ask support about availability, device requirements and your subscription before installing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can contact our support team at any time to cancel your subscription. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
Can I send reports and invoices over WhatsApp?
Yes. SihatSuite can deliver investigation reports and invoices directly to a patient's WhatsApp with one tap, using approved message templates in Bangla or English. Each message includes a secure link the patient can open to view or download the PDF.
How do patients open their reports securely?
Every report gets a private link and QR code. When a patient opens it, they are asked for a PIN — the last 4 digits of their registered phone number — before the report is shown. There is no account to create and no risk of another patient seeing the results.
Does SihatSuite track referral commissions?
Yes. You can tag the agent, doctor, or organisation who referred each patient on the invoice. Commission is calculated automatically on the final billed amount after discounts, so settling with your referrers is transparent and requires no manual maths.
What printer sizes and currency are supported?
Invoices and reports print on thermal 80mm, A5, and A4 — whatever hardware your center already uses. Billing is in Bangladeshi Taka (৳), with Cash, Card, Mobile Banking, and Bank Transfer all supported, including partial payments and due tracking.
Does it work in Bangla?
SihatSuite supports Bangla and English for patient-facing communication such as WhatsApp report and invoice messages, and our support team can assist you in either language.
Can I run only a pharmacy on SihatSuite, without a diagnostic centre?
Yes. The Pharmacy module stands on its own at ৳1,250 a month. A retail medicine shop gets the counter, batch and expiry tracking, supplier purchases and due, customer records, staff logins with permissions, and the cash book and profit-loss accounting — without any of the laboratory screens it would never open. If you already run a diagnostic centre with us, pharmacy attaches to your existing subscription at the same price.
How does the pharmacy module stop expired medicine being sold?
Stock is held per batch with its expiry date, and the counter always takes from the batch expiring soonest. A batch past its date is removed from the sellable pool entirely — it cannot be reached by the automatic pick, by choosing a batch by hand, or by restocking a returned strip. Separately, you choose how many days before expiry you want to be warned, so slow-moving stock can be moved while it is still worth something.
Can I sell loose tablets from a strip?
Yes. Each product records how many tablets are in a strip and how many strips in a box. You buy in boxes and sell in tablets, and the software converts both ways — stock is stored in single units and shown back as strips and boxes, so selling 3 from a full box of 10×10 leaves 9 strips + 7.
Does the pharmacy handle surgical items and other non-medicine products?
Yes. Medicines are picked from the 30,000-drug catalogue so brand, strength and pack are correct. Surgical items, devices, baby food and cosmetics have no such catalogue, so you name them yourself — individually, or by importing a spreadsheet. After that they behave identically: batches, expiry, barcodes, selling and reporting.
How does SihatSuite work out pharmacy profit on a free-goods deal?
When you receive a purchase, the amount paid is spread across everything that entered stock, including free units and after any discount on the bill. Ten boxes at ৳100 with one free and ৳200 off the bill cost ৳0.7273 a tablet, not ৳1.00 — and that figure is used for every sale from that batch. The cost is snapshotted at the moment of sale, so a later purchase never rewrites last month's profit.
Which package fits a pharmacy with a doctor’s chamber?
Prescription + Pharmacy connects prescription writing, dispensing, batch stock and accounts without requiring a lab. Doctor serials and waiting-room queues require Diagnostic Management. See Pricing for current packages and charges.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Contact support to change the package on your existing organisation account. Confirm the effective date, charge for the remaining subscription period and renewal total before activation.
What limits apply to doctors, staff, devices and branches?
Published packages list included modules. Confirm your required doctors, staff, counters, devices and branches in a quotation. Multiple chamber addresses on a prescription do not mean a multi-branch business subscription.
Can I move records from my current software?
Pharmacy opening stock supports the supplied spreadsheet template. Check medicine identity, batch, expiry, quantity and cost before importing. Ask support to review historical patient records and other source formats before agreeing a migration.
What happens to exports and access when I cancel?
Use the available report export or print options while your account is active. Before cancelling, agree any additional records, formats and delivery dates with support and confirm post-cancellation access and retention in writing.
Can I keep working without internet?
The website needs a connection. Configured Field Agent and Pharmacy POS apps can queue supported work for later sync; Lab Bridge can store received analyser runs on the lab PC. Devices need power and prior setup. Reconnect, check sync status and resolve conflicts before assuming all work reached the server.
