Set up the doctor and the counter

Use Prescription + Pharmacy for a shop with a doctor's chamber and no laboratory. Configure the doctor's login, chamber details and letterhead, then give counter staff permissions for their work. Before serving customers, load opening stock with the correct batches, expiry dates, quantities and costs. A medicine catalogue lists drugs; it does not mean those medicines are already in your shop's stock.

Write the prescription

The doctor finds the patient, records the consultation and selects medicines with instructions. The counter's stock can be shown while prescribing, but availability does not replace the doctor's judgement. Check strength, dosage form and instructions before saving. Select the correct chamber so its details appear on the printed prescription.

Dispense and confirm the sale

Counter staff open the prescription dispensing workflow and review the medicines to sell. Check the product, quantity, selling unit and available batch. A saved prescription is not a completed sale: staff still confirm what is being dispensed and record payment. If an item is unavailable, resolve it with the prescriber rather than treating stock availability as permission to substitute.

Check stock and the accounts

After confirming the sale, review the receipt, stock movement and collected or outstanding amount. Batch costs support the pharmacy's profit calculation. Include supplier payments and shop expenses in your daily reconciliation so sales revenue is not mistaken for cash available or net profit.

Know the boundary of the bundle

Prescription + Pharmacy does not include Diagnostic Management. Doctor serial booking, waiting-room queues, laboratory samples and reports require that module. If you add a lab later, discuss upgrading the existing organisation with support. Confirm staff, doctor, device and branch coverage in the quotation; message credits and eligible add-ons are separate.
